Conversation week 3
On July 12th, I went to Virginia Beach with my roommate and roommate’s friends. My roommate’s birthday was this friday. So we went there to celebrate her birthday. During driving, we were talking a lot. The most interesting part is celebrating civil war in Petersburg. she went to Petersburg on saturday. In Petersburg, she said, there are lots of memorial to memory their civil war. That day, she saw people who wore at that time’s costumes, and she told to me people were commemorating on special day. And she asked about Korea costume. We have our own costume, and nowadays people are not usually wearing it. But after marriage, bride should wear costume when she goes to her husband’s house. And some people are still wearing our costume on traditional day. After this conversation, I thought, I want to go to Petersburg.
